VKV Teachers honoured with State Awards for Excellence in Education
With great joy, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari is pleased to announce that four teachers from Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas in Arunachal Pradesh have been honored with the State Award to Teachers’ 2024, presented by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
On the occasion of Teachers' Day, 5th September 2024, the Honourable Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Lt. General KT Parnaik Ji (Retd.), conferred state awards on 40 teachers from various government and government-aided private schools for their contributions toward the “enhancement of education in the state.” Among the recipients, four teachers from Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas were awarded the prestigious State Award. They are: Sri Shyamal Chakraborty Ji, Headmaster, VKV Balijan (Papum Pare), Sri Tripur Mardan Pratap Chaubey Ji, Principal, VKV Kuporijo (Upper Subansiri), Sri Dr. Kakade Rajendra Changan Ji, Principal, VKV NEEPCO Yazali (Keyi Panyor), Sri Pinaki Roy Ji, TGT, VKV Oyan (E/Siang)
During the felicitation program organized by the Department of Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, the Honorable Governor presented the awards and congratulated the recipients. The event was graced by Deputy Speaker Sri Kardo Nyigyor ji, Education Commissioner Sri Amjad Tak ji, and Secondary Education Joint Director Sri Tanyang Tatak ji, who also addressed the gathering.
