Yoga Satra at Imphal

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Arunachal Prant, Manipur Vibhag, Imphal Branch, organized a 10-day Yoga Satra from 28th August to 6th September 2024 at the Keli Makhong Community Hall, Sagalband Bijoy Govinda, Thangapat Mapal, Imphal. A total of 27 participants, including the organizing team, attended the Satra regularly and engaged in various yoga practices.

Teachers’ Day Celebration at VKV Kanyakumari

कन्याकुमारी में आध्यात्मिक शिविर - अगस्त 2024

 विवेकानंद केंद्र, कन्याकुमारी  में   8 से 14 अगस्त 2024 तक विवेकानंदपुरम, कन्याकुमारी में आध्यात्मिक शिविर का आयोजन किया। इस शिविर में दो समानांतर शिविर शामिल थे: एक अंग्रेजी में 24 प्रतिभागियों (19 भाई और 5 बहनें) के साथ और दूसरा हिंदी में 28 प्रतिभागियों (17 भाई और 11 बहनें) के साथ, कुल मिलाकर 52 प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया। ये प्रतिभागी भारत के 15 विभिन्न राज्यों से आए थे, जिनमें आंध्र प्रदेश, असम, बिहार, दिल्ली, हिमाचल प्रदेश, झारखंड, कर्नाटक, केरल, मध्य प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, मणिपुर, तमिलनाडु, तेलंगाना, उत्तर प्रदेश और पश्चिम बंगाल शामिल हैं।

Spiritual Retreat 2024

Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari, organized a Spiritual Retreat from August 8th to 14th, 2024, at the Training Centre in Vivekanandapuram, Kanyakumari. The retreat featured two parallel Shibirs: one conducted in English with 24 participants (19 brothers and 5 sisters) and the other in Hindi with 28 participants (17 brothers and 11 sisters), totalling 52 participants.

युवा नेतृत्व विकास शिविर: पटना विभाग

विवेकानन्द केंद्र कन्याकुमारी, बिहार-झारखण्ड प्रान्त, पटना विभाग द्वारा आयोजित 'युवा नेतृत्व विकास शिविर' का सफल समापन हुआ। 25-30 मई, 2024 तक आयोजित इस पांच दिवसीय आवासीय शिविर में पटना और गया जिलों के महाविद्यालयीन प्रतियोगिता और कार्यशाला से चुने गए 36 युवाओं ने भाग लिया। शिविर का आयोजन शिवम कॉन्वेंट, बाईपास रोड में किया गया था।

Vivekananda Kendra Delhi Ignites Young Minds with Summer Camp

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Uttar Prant, Delhi Branch recently concluded a vibrant two-day summer camp designed to spark creativity, physical fitness, and cultural appreciation in school-aged students. Held on May 18th and 19th, the camp drew 32 enthusiastic participants from diverse schools across the city.

A total of 44 well-wishers from Mangalapuram and Udupi districts participated in the workshop.

Amrit Parivar Sangamam at Guruvayu

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag, Guruvayur Niyojit Nagar organized the Amrit Parivar Sangamam at Vaikkattil Kudumba Temple, Vadanappally, Thrissur, on 24th April, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. A total of 32 participants from 14 families participated in the programme. Along with them, four Kendra karyakarthas were present.

Vivekananda Kendra Launches "Awakening Bharat: A Youth Talk Show" Initiative

Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari, has launched a new initiative called "Awakening Bharat: A Youth Talk Show." This program aims to engage young minds in India on various topics relevant to their growth and the nation's progress. The initiative features a series of webinars focusing on Bharatiya culture, presented by renowned speakers. The primary goal is to instill a sense of national identity and inspire youth to contribute to nation-building endeavors.

अमृत परिवार कार्यक्रम: रांची शाखा

विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी, शाखा रांची द्वारा अमृत परिवार कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत परिवार मिलन समारोह का आयोजन 28 मार्च 2024 को अपराह्न 5:00 बजे चिन्मय आश्रम, रांची में किया गया। इस अवसर पर मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में माननीय श्री नंदलाल जी जोशी उपस्थित थे। कार्यक्रम में लगभग 36 परिवारों के अतिरिक्त स्थानीय कार्यकर्ताओं, स्वयंसेवकों ने भाग लिया।

Amrit Parivar Training Programme at Guwahati

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Assam Prant, organized an Amrit Parivar Training programme for the Kendra karyakarthas of Assam Prant. The one-day training program took place at Williamson Magor Auditorium, VKIC, Guwahati, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, 2024. A total of 38 karyakarthas from various vibhags, nagars, prakalpas (projects), and VKVs within Assam Prant participated in the training.

युवा नेतृत्व प्रतियोगिता-कार्यशाला : जबलपुर शाखा

विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी की जबलपुर शाखा द्वारा महाविद्यालयीन छात्रों के लिए "युवा नेतृत्व प्रतियोगिता" के अनुक्रम में "कार्यशाला" का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य युवाओं को साहसिक गतिविधियों से जोड़ना और उनमें नेतृत्व क्षमता का विकास करना था।

Bhraman by Hebbal Nagar

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, Hebbal Branch organized a Bhraman to Nandi Hills on 16th March 2024. A total of 64 people actively participated in the trek. The journey commenced early in the morning at 5:15 a.m., and everyone returned by noon. The trek involved climbing 1,700 steps to reach the hilltop, where Kendra Varga was conducted.

Tribute Wall for Freedom Fighters to be inaugurated at Vivekananda Kendra Headquarters

A Tribute Wall bearing the names of 1,040 freedom fighters from across Bharat is set to be inaugurated at the Headquarters of Vivekananda Kendra in Vivekanandapuram, Kanyakumari. The construction work for the Tribute Wall in Vivekanandapuram commenced 4 to 5 months ago, with a Bhumi Puja ceremony on 21st September 2023, graced by Sri. Pon Radhakrishnan ji, the Ex. Minister of State for Finance and Shipping, Government of Bharat, Embalam R. Selvam, The Honourable Speaker of the Puducherry Legislative Assembly, and other dignitaries.

A Bhoomi Puja was performed on 19th March 2024 for the construction of the ‘Vivekananda Kendra Skill Development & Training Centre’ by Vivekananda Kendra Arunjyoti at Tezu, Lohit District in Arunachal Pradesh. Mananeeya Sri Hanumamtharao Ji, All India Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra, was present for the Bhoomi Puja.
