STATE LEVEL YUVA PRERANA SHIBIR AT ODISHA

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Odisha Prant organised a state level Yuva Prashikshan Shibir for the youth who has committed to serve the nation through different activities, from 24th December to 28th December 2014, under the aegis of Mananeeya Eknathji Janma Shati Parva. 155 youth from 10 districts of Odisha participated in the 5 day camp. These youth had attended the “Born to Succeed” workshop and Yuva Sammelans in their respective Nagar sthans. Participants from all 7 Nagar sthans and 4 Karyasthans attended the camp.

Amrita Vidyalayam, Janla campus was full of enthusiasm and patriotism during these 5 days. Brahmachari Durgadasji, Incharge - Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Odisha, Mananeeya Shri. Kishor Tokekar,  All India Joint General Secretary, Vivekananda Kendra and Mananeeya Shri. Surasen Jena, Prant Sanchalak, VK Odisha inaugurated the camp. Brahmachari Durgadasji said that, “...seeing the enthusiasm and vigour of the participants, I feet Bharat has definitely a Bright future.” Mananeeya Kishorji emphasised on disciplined life.

Loosening Exercises, Suryanamaskar, Balancing Asanas and Pranayama were taught in Yoga sessions. Lectures were on the topics like Swami Vivekananda’s Life and message, Bharat Mata. Bharat Bhakti, Sanghatit Yuva- Safal Bharat, Dinacharya.  Mananeeya Kishorji, Shri. Anil Kumar Kar, Shri. Ravi Naiduji, Kum. Pranjali and Su. Varshadidi guided students on the topics. Sri Laxminarayan Panigrahi, Prakalpa Sangathak – Odisha Seva Prakalpa gave the appeal in the Aahuti satra. Apart from the regular routine of camp, the participants enjoyed Group Discussions, Skill development sessions, Open learning (Mukta Shikshan) sessions and patheya sessions. Participants’ Skills of story telling and Conducting games in Sanskar Varga  were honed in Naipunya Vargas (Skill Development sessions ). Mukta Shikshan session was introduced for the first time where in participants were given time to know more on their own by seeing exhibitions and interviewing Senior karyakartas. Mananeeya Eknathji’s Life was introduced through videos and story-telling in Prerana Se Punarutthan sessions.

The participants resolved to work in the fields of Education (formal and Moral through Anandalayas and Sanskar Vargas) and Environmental Issues for the next six months by giving at least 2 hours weekly.

Yuva Prerna Shibir in Odisha

Odisha Pranta has conducted 3 Yuva prerana Shibir during Puja Holidays at Brahmapur, Bhubaneswar and Kendujhar. Total  91 students from 6 and 18 colleges districts participated in the camps. The theme of the camp was Safal Yuva - Yuva Bharat. The various sessions based on the topics like Swami Vivekananda, Vivekananda Ke Eknath, Team Building and Vande Mataram were taken. The camp also included the interaction of students with Successful youth personalities like Kargil Worrier, Socially active Businessman, a scientist etc.  The youth took sankalpa for organising workshops in their colleges and also start/ attend Swadhyaya Vargas in their places. Also involve in conducting Sanskar Vargas and Anandalayas.

YUVA PRERANA SHIBIR AT ODISHA

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari conducted a One day Yuva Prerana Shibir at Aska (Ganjam) on April 6th 2014 at Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Aska. 25-articipants from Aska town and 2 nearby villages participated in it. This camp was entirely organised by Viajy Hi Vijay participants from Aska collage. The main theme of the camp was Utho! Jago! Yuva Bharat which was described by Kum Pranjali. Followed by Games, Manthan on 'Bharatiya Sanskriti:The Pride', 'Challenges and Responses', and 'Swami Vivekananda's Beckoning call to youth ' was done in 3 groups. While summing up the manthan Shri. Lakshmidhar Parida said, Bharat is great because of 3 things, Ganga-Ka-Pani (Purity), Ram Kahani (Renunciation for greater cause) and Vedonki Vani (Philosophy of seers).

STATE LEVEL YUVA PRERANA SHIBIR ODISHA

Odisha conducted a State level Yuva Prerana Shibir from 23-26 January 2014 at Amrita Vidyalayam near Bhubaneswar. 62 youth from different parts of Odisha participated in the camp. The camp was inaugurated by Aadarniya Surasenji Jena, Pranta Sanchalak, VK Odisha Pranta, Mananeeya Bhanudasji guided the participants on the occasion. Br. Rasika and Br. Viju from Mata Amritanandamayi Math blessed the participants by benedictory address.

‘They alone live who live for others…’ was the theme of the camp. The lecture sessions were based on the topics like Vande Mataram!, Amar Bharat! Ajeya Bharat!, Swami Vivekananda, Bharat Bhakti, Mananeeya Eknathji, Utho! Jago! Yuva Bharat. Apart from the regular yogabhyas, Samskar varga, Manthan, Bhajan Sandhya daily an interview with the people inspired by Swamiji and working in the social arena was planned. The participants asked number of questions and got motivation to work for the nation.

The inspiring incidents from the life of Veer Surendra Sai, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Swami Vivekananda were told after Bhajan-Sandhya and workshops on Jivan Dhyeya and Vivekananda Kendra was also conducted. Last day in Prerana Se Punarutthan one of the participants presented his experience about camp in Pala - an Odiya Folk Song–style, which was enjoyed by the participants.

In the  Ahuti Satra, Aadarniya Lakshmi Narayanji, Prakalpa Sanghatak, Utkal Seva Prakalpa asked the participants to Enlighten the Fire of Rashtra- Bhakti in their hearts and sacrifice the penny selfishness for this great cause. Aadarniya Ravi ji, Pranta Sanghatak, Odisha Pranta gave a call to them to work for nation. Dedicating one life for this cause is the need of the hour.

Residential Yuva Prerana Shibir at Surat

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Branch surat has organized the Residential Yuva Prena Shivir, themed as
YUVA : BHARAT KI SAKTI from 05/05/2013 to 07/05/2013 at Vibrant international Academy in which 23 youths have very well participated.
Main session were of Vishwa Vijayta Ek Yuva: VIVEKANANDA, Rastra Adharsh Ek Yuva: VIVEKANANDA, Rastra Bhakta Vivekananda.
Rest with daily theme Niyamita, Sangathan & Tatparta whole day camp was conducted. And 12 karyakartas were there so total 35 have participated.
We had tour to ERTHAN village as we had session of sampark. So these was put into the practical form.

And at village after door to door sampark we had one hour sanskar varga with the villagers at village groung in which nearly 100 villagers (ladies and gents) have enthusiastically participated.
And heavy nasta were arranged by the Village sarpanch.
And rest when camp was finished Shri. Deepakbhai Rajyaguru has said to use his campus every year whenever we have residential camp.
