Amrit Parivar Programme organized by VK Thiruvananthapuram

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Keralam Prant, Thiruvananthapuram Branch conducted an Amrit Parivar Programme at Vikas Nagar, Vattiyoorkavu, on July 26, 2026, from 11:40 AM to 12:50 PM. The interactive gathering brought together 19 members from 5 families. 

The Programme commenced with three Omkaras and the Shantipath. Following the initial prayers, Adarneeya Priyamvada Didi introduced Adarneeya Radha Didi to the attendees, setting a welcoming tone for the session. The atmosphere was further elevated as everyone joined in singing a soulful patriotic song in a lead-and-follow format. 

Addressing the gathered families, Adarneeya Radha Didi, Keralam Prant Sangathak, Vivekananda Kendra delivered an insightful talk emphasizing the vital role of values in daily life. She highlighted that living by core values gives life purpose, builds resilience against challenges, and that truth remains human nature's foundational aspect. 

She encouraged parents to cultivate an open household environment where children feel safe communicating freely about any subject, even after making mistakes. Resonating with this advice, a mother shared a recent incident involving her daughter, receiving heartfelt appreciation from the audience for her openness. The session continued with an engaging value-based game inspired by Radha Didi’s discourse, followed by a devotional Hanumanji Bhajan.

The meaningful gathering concluded peacefully with a short meditation and the Shantimantra.

Amrit Parivar Bhajan Sandhya Organised at Bagalur

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, Kempegowda Vibhag, R.T. Nagar Nagarsthan organized a Amrit Parivar Bhajan Sandhya as a part of Special Bhajan Sandhya Drive on 14th June 2026 at the residence of Kum. Nisha Bartwal in Sathanur Colony, Bagalur. The programme witnessed the participation of 65 attendees, including 43 family members and well-wishers and 22 karyakartas.

The Bhajan Sandhya was organized on the auspicious occasion of Sri Sathyanarayana Pooja at the family's new residence. Devotional bhajans created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere, filling the home with devotion and positive vibrations. Following the Bhajan Sandhya, Shri Bharath Anna introduced the ideals and activities of Vivekananda Kendra through a Kendra Parichaya. As part of the Samparka initiative, the family was presented with Viveka Sinchana and Rousing Call to the Hindu Nation books. The programme strengthened the family's association with Vivekananda Kendra and inspired them to actively participate in its future activities.

Amrit Parivar Programme at Australia

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, Mysore Nagarsthan, organized an Amrit Parivar Programme on 18 January 2026 at Oramzi Road, Girraween, Sydney, Australia. The programme witnessed the participation of 18 members representing 4 families, reflecting a meaningful beginning towards strengthening family-based spiritual practices.

The session focused on introducing the vision and activities of Vivekananda Kendra and highlighting the importance of the Bhagavad Gita in daily life. The discussion emphasized that Hindu families should come together regularly to preserve and transmit Bharat’s Sanatana Dharma and cultural values to future generations.

Participants were encouraged to cultivate the practice of collectively reciting at least three to four shlokas from the Bhagavad Gita every week, followed by discussion of their meaning and relevance in daily life. The importance of integrating such practices within existing family sankuls was also stressed, thereby nurturing spiritually rooted and culturally aware family units.

The programme concluded with a resolve among the participating families to implement these practices consistently, making the gathering both purposeful and inspiring.

Amrit Parivar at Patna

"अमृत परिवार से ही श्रेष्ठ समाज का निर्माण हो सकता है।"

विवेकानन्द केन्द्र की यह गहन मान्यता है कि सशक्त समाज की नींव अमृत परिवार से ही रखी जा सकती है। इस विचार को साकार करने के लिए केन्द्र ने अमृत परिवार की अवधारणा प्रस्तुत की है — एक ऐसी सामाजिक रचना, जिसमें कुछ परिवारों का समूह (संकुल) अपनी परंपराओं, संस्कृति और मूल्यों को जीवंत बनाए रखते हुए सामाजिक आत्मीयता और एकता को सुदृढ़ करता है।

इसी क्रम में, पटना के राजापुर पुल के पास स्थित मैक्सवेल कॉम्प्लेक्स में 28 मई से 1 जून 2025 तक अनावासीय व्यक्तित्व विकास शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। यह कार्यक्रम ग्रीष्मकालीन छुट्टियों के दौरान बच्चों के व्यक्तित्व को निखारने के उद्देश्य से प्रति वर्ष आयोजित किया जाता है। इस वर्ष, अपार्टमेंट के 17 बच्चों ने इसमें भाग लिया।

प्रत्येक दिन चार घंटे तक चले शिविर में बच्चों को खेलकूद, राष्ट्रभक्ति गीत, सूर्यनमस्कार, चित्रकला, समाज और विज्ञान से जुड़े कई विषयों की जानकारी दी गई। इस प्रशिक्षण में विवेकानन्द केन्द्र के प्रशिक्षक धर्मदासजी (पटना विभाग संगठक) और निर्मला दीदी (सह-नगर प्रमुख) ने मार्गदर्शन प्रदान किया।

अमृत परिवार का सांस्कृतिक संकल्प

शिविर के अंतिम दिन, बच्चों के परिवारों की उपस्थिति में एक सांस्कृतिक संध्या का आयोजन किया गया जिसे "अमृत परिवार" के रूप में प्रस्तुत किया गया। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य वक्ता श्री विजय वर्मा जी (अमृत परिवार प्रमुख, बिहार-झारखंड) ने कहा कि बदलते समय में जब एकल परिवार की प्रवृत्ति बढ़ रही है, तब समाज को जोड़े रखने के लिए अमृत परिवार एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल है। संकुल के रूप में संगठित परिवार यदि भाषा-भूषा, भोजन-भजन, भ्रमण-भवन जैसी गतिविधियों को सामूहिक रूप से निभाएं, तो समाज में आत्मीयता और स्थायित्व संभव है।

इस अवसर पर मंच पर अन्य विशिष्ट अतिथि उपस्थित थे—आ. सत्येन्द्र कुमार शर्मा जी, आ. शिवकुमार प्रसाद सिंह जी, श्रीमती शिखा सिंह परमार जी, और डॉ. अजय कुमार शाही जी (सचिव, मैक्सवेल कॉम्प्लेक्स)। इन्होंने भी अमृत परिवार की नियमावली को अपनाने का आग्रह किया।

बच्चों की प्रस्तुति और अभिभावकों की प्रसन्नता

बच्चों ने इस सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम में सूर्यनमस्कार, देशभक्ति गीत और एक नाट्य प्रस्तुति दी। रंगारंग कार्यक्रम को देखकर अभिभावकों ने हर्ष और गर्व व्यक्त किया और ऐसे आयोजन बार-बार करने का निवेदन किया।

कार्यक्रम का समापन शांति मंत्र और अमृत भोज के साथ हुआ, जिसमें सभी उपस्थितों ने आनंदपूर्वक भाग लिया।

आयोजन के सहयोगी

इस कार्यक्रम की सफलता में डॉ. कृष्णकांत जी, आ. सुभाषिणी दीदी, अपार्टमेंट समिति के अध्यक्ष, और आयोजन समिति के अमृतेश जी, नीता जी, बसंत जी, कन्हैया भिलारी जी और बी. एन. प्रसाद जी की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका रही। कुल मिलाकर 125 लोग इस आयोजन का हिस्सा बने।
