Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag, Guruvayur Niyojit Nagar organized the Amrit Parivar Sangamam at Vaikkattil Kudumba Temple, Vadanappally, Thrissur, on 24th April, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. A total of 32 participants from 14 families participated in the programme. Along with them, four Kendra karyakarthas were present.
The program commenced with Prarthana. Shri. Jyothivas ji introduced Dakshin Prant Sangathak Mananeeya Radha Didi to the family members. Subsequently, Ma. Radha Didi gave a brief introduction to Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra. This was followed by a detailed discussion on Amrita Parivar Sankalp. Games were also organized, and the participants enjoyed playing together, which helped in opening up and engagement during the session.
All participants had food together while reciting the Bhojana Mantra, creating a sense of unity and joy among everyone. The participants expressed their happiness and requested to continue this gathering on a monthly basis. As a follow-up to this program, the formation of the Sankul and the selection of the Sankul Pramukh are currently in progress.
