Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, Mysore Branch organized a Kendra Parichay Shibir (Kendra Introduction Camp) at the Training Centre at Vivekanandapuram, Kanyakumari, on 4th and 5th May 2024. A total of 44 well-wishers from Mangalapuram and Udupi districts participated in the workshop.

During the Shibir, the participants were taken on a campus tour where they visited Sri Ramayan Darshan and Bharat Mata Sadanam, Arise Awake Exhibition, Gangotri, etc. They also visited the Wandering Monk exhibition and Vivekananda Rock Memorial and had a yoga session there on 5th morning.
Mananeeya Sri Bhanudasji Dhakras, the General Secretary of Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra, conducted a session on Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Vivekananda Kendra, and its activities. Another session on Amrit Parivar was conducted by Mysore Nagar Sagathak Sri Aravinda Anna.
Sri Rishikesh, Yuva Pramukh, coordinated the Shibir. Sri Ratnakar Ji and Sri Prasad Ji encouraged the participants to actively engage in Seva Karya through Vivekananda Kendra.
All the attendees are very happy and eager to take part in Kendra activities in their localities after returning from Kanyakumari. Smt. Chitrakka expressed that she is particularly interested in Amrit Parivar Sankul formation.
