The camp aimed to provide accessible eye-care services to poor, needy and elderly people, with a focus on early detection of eye ailments, particularly cataract, and facilitating appropriate treatment.

A total of 70 patients underwent comprehensive eye screening by the visiting medical team. Of these, 17 patients were diagnosed with cataract requiring surgical intervention, and 9 patients were taken to Renu Eye Care Center, Dibrugarh, for free cataract surgery and further treatment. Additionally, 52 pairs of prescription spectacles were distributed free of cost to beneficiaries requiring vision correction.

Through collaboration with healthcare institutions and service organizations, the camp contributed towards preventing avoidable visual impairment and improving the quality of life of beneficiaries.
