Vivekananda Kendra's Young India Know Thyself Orientation

 The sixth season of Young India: Know Thyself: A leadership Development program was launched in August 2022. Shri Nikhil Yadav, Prant Yuva Pramukh, Vivekananda Kendra, Uttar Prant informed that the Delhi Branch of Vivekananda Kedra is organizing the program. Till now, more than a thousand students have registered to participate in this program from across Delhi. Out of those thousand students, more than 400 students have also completed its youth program's second Phase (orientation). Students from Jawaharlal Nehru University, IGNOU, and around twenty-five colleges of Delhi University were present in these orientations, which included Miranda House, Bhagini Nivedita, Daulat Ram, Swami Sharadhanand, PGDAV (Morning and Evening college), Maharaja Agrasen College, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (Morning and Evening), Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, Janki Devi Memorial College, Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied for Women, among others.

The orientations were held at Vivekananda Kendra Chanakyapuri, New Delhi center. These orientations (workshops) aim to introduce young people to Swami Vivekananda's ideas. Each orientation (workshop) lasts four hours and includes games, skit preparation, presentation, group discussion (GD), and presentation. It begins with an invocation and a brief introduction to the attendees. In addition, an introductory remark is made to put the participants in comfort and to provide a road map of the orientation. Then we move on to Geet (a patriotic song). Following the introduction and Geet, all participants are divided into groups and taken outside for the game and other activities.

The games foster teamwork and improve group dynamics and decision-making among participants.

We then moved on to our next activity, a skit presentation, in which the groups had to perform a skit based on the theme Digital India and Atmanirbhar Bharat. Regarding the group discussion, the topic was 'Need to Know Thyself.'

A presentation by the participants and closing words from a senior Karyakarta of the Vivekananda Kendra bring the GD to a close. Following these introductions, weekly sessions on personality development will be given every Sunday.

The chosen students from the orientation will participate in a five-day residential "Young India: Know Thyself" camp in January 2023.

Vimarsh - Indore

 इंदौर में दिनांक 23 अगस्त 2022, मंगलवार को विमर्श - "उत्तर पूर्वांचल में विवेकानन्द केन्द्र का योगदान" का कार्यक्रम संपन्न हुआ। जिसमें विवेकानन्द केन्द्र के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष माननीय बालकृष्णन जी, मध्य प्रान्त संचालक माननीय मनोहर देव जी एवं इन्दोर के महापौर श्री पुष्यमित्र भार्गव उपस्थित रहे। विवेकानन्द केन्द्र के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष माननीय बालकृष्णन जी ने अपना सारगर्भित और उत्साहवर्धक उद्बोधन दिया। इस अवसर पर इंदौर के महापौर पुष्यमित्र भार्गव जी ने भी अपने पूर्वांचल के अनुभव सुनाएं। 100 से भी अधिक प्रबुद्ध नागरिकों की उपस्थिति से कार्यक्रम संपन्न हुआ।

Young India - Know Thyself Program Season 6 - Delhi Branch

On Sunday 21st, 2022, the Delhi Branch of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari Launched its yearly Youth Program Young India: Know Thyself Program Season -6.

Shri Nikhil Yadav, Prant Yuva Pramukh of Vivekananda Kendra, Uttar Prant, informed that Honorable Hanumanth Rao Ji, All India Vice-president of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari and Chief Secretary of Govt. of Delhi, Shri Naresh Kumar Ji (IAS) were present as chief guests for the launch program being organized at our Delhi Centre in Chanakyapuri. The program was attended by more than 300 faculty members and students of different colleges of Delhi University and JNU. Shri Naresh Kumar Ji, during his address, recalled the 15th August Speech of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and said that the coming 25 years are the most crucial phase for India as it will enter its 100 years of Independence. If we get organized and work for the country, India will become "Vishva Guru."

Honorable Hanumanth Rao Ji, in his address, emphasized on Role of Swami Vivekananda in the reawakening of India when India was under British tyranny. He also urged the youth to dedicate at least 2 or 3 years to the Nation. 

Shri Nikhil Yadav also informed that Young India: Know Thyself (YIKT) is a leadership development program designed for the Delhi - NCR youth aged between 16 to 23 years. YIKT is a 4 phase program that is as follows: 

1. Registration: Physically in college with one-to-one interaction and Class the Class campaign. Online by contacting the college coordinator or any other volunteer of YIKT.

2. Online test: Based on Indian culture, civilization, and the Life of Swami Vivekananda to test the awareness and sincerity. It consists of 40 questions. This Multiple Choice Questions(MCQ) test will be available on the YIKT website. 

3. Workshop: A 5 hours long interactive workshop is being conducted on Saturday and Sunday. It consists of games, group discussions, and skit presentations to enhance the group dynamics, discipline, and initiative.

4. Residential camp: Selected participants are invited to a five-day residential camp. The camp is being organized after the semester exams. All activities are done in groups. It consists of games, yoga, Suryanamaskar, Agyabhyas for martial spirit, Intellectual lectures, group discussion, Vedic chanting, and many more activities. Participants utilize around 16 hours in a day. The whole process is designed to impact all the dimensions of one's personality, such as physical, mental, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual. Young India; the program gives the experience of living a purposefully and spiritually way of Life. 

स्वाधीनता का अमृत महोत्सव विमर्श कार्यक्रम का आयोजन - ग्वालियर

 विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी शाखा, ग्वालियर एवं भारतीय पर्यटन एवं यात्रा प्रबंध संस्थान के संयुक्त तत्वावाधान में स्वाधीनता के अमृत महोत्सव कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया आयोजन समिति के पदाधिकारियों ने कार्यक्रम की जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि कार्यक्रम में मुख्य वक्ता विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी अखिल भारतीय उपाध्यक्ष पद्मश्री सुश्री निवेदिता दीदी ने कहा कि आज भारतीय परिवार भाषा, भूशा, भजन, भोजन, भ्रमण में अपना मूल विस्मृत कर रहे हैं, यह हमें भारतीय परिवेश में करना होगा। दीदी द्वारा बताया गया कि सनातन रूप से भारत एक राष्ट्र है। राज्य व्यवस्था भले ही अलग-अलग थी पर राष्ट्र के रूप में हम एक जीवमान इकाई रहे हैं। स्वाधीनता का अमृत महोत्सव एक सुअवसर है कि हम भारतीय परिवार व्यवस्था का ‘स्व’ प्रगट करें यह स्व ही भारत को सम्पूर्णता से अभिव्यक्त करेगा। हम अपने स्व को स्मरण करें। 

देष की शिक्षा, व्यापार, चिकित्सा, समाज, व्यवस्था सर्वांगीण विकास के लिए थी और एकात्म भाव को जागृत करती थी। गुलामी काल में अंग्रेंजी ने हमें विचार से पराधीन कर दिया और हम आत्म विस्मृति के शिकार हुए। आने वाले 25 वर्ष का काल हम संकल्प पर्व के रूप में मनाएं। संकल्प यह कि हम आरूढ़ करें।   

सुश्री निवेदिता दीदी ने कहा कि धर्म भारतीय संस्कृति और भारतीय दर्शन की प्रमुख संकल्पना है। धर्म को जानने के लिए धर्म का पहला अंग आत्मीयता का व्यवहार । हम अपने कर्तव्यों का निभाना ही धर्म है। धर्म का कार्य करना है तो कर्तव्य की पूर्ति करना होगी अगर हम धर्म का पालन श्रेष्टता से करेंगे तो इस देश को आगे बढ़ने से कोई नहीं रोक सकता धर्म पालन करने के लिए हमें कष्टों का भी सामना करना पड़ता है, तभी यह कार्य पूरा होता है। आज आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव मना रहे हैं। इसमें सबसे पहले हमें स्वतंत्रता सैनानियों को स्मरण करना होगा। जिस प्रकार से उन्होंने कार्य किया इस प्रकार से ही हमें सोचना होगा कि हम देश के लिए क्या कर सकते हैं। अमृत महोत्सव परिवर्तन के लिए महत्वपूर्ण युग है। जिसका हमें अपने पूरे मनोयोग से सद्उपयोग करना चाहिए। 

मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में डीआरडीई ग्वालियर के एडिशनल डायरेक्टर डॉ. के गनेशन एवं विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप वेक्ट्स इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड के संयुक्त प्रबंध निदेषक अतुल लड्ढा और विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी शाखा के नगर संचालक डॉ. अक्षय निगम उपस्थित थे। जिन्होंने भी इस अवसर पर अपने देश की शिक्षा और आश्रम व्यवस्था पर अपने विचार व्यक्त किए कार्यक्रम में राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के विभाग संघचालक विजय गुप्ता , आईआईटीटीएस के निर्देशक प्रो. आलोक शर्मा सहित नगर के 300 गणमान्य सदस्य मौजूद रहें। इस अवसर पर सुश्री निवेदिता दीदी द्वारा लिखित इण्डियन कल्चर पुस्तक का विमोचन हुआ। महाराजा होजाई गम्बा एवं टोली द्वारा सरदार ऊधम सिंह पर आधारित जनरल डायर हत्याकाण्ड नाट्य का मंचन किया गया। शांति मंत्र सुरूचि दीदी वन्देमातरम् गीत पियुश तांबे द्वारा किया गया तथा कार्यक्रम का संचालन केन्द्र प्रमुख यतेन्द्र सिंह और आभार केन्द्र प्रकल्प प्रमुख नितिन मांगलिक जी द्वार किया गया।

Independence Day Celebration - Jodhpur

 भारत के आजादी के 75 वर्ष पूरे होने पर अमृत महोत्सव के अंतर्गत विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी शाखा जोधपुर ने 76वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस उत्साह और भक्ति से मनाया।  नगर प्रमुख श्री अमित व्यास ने बताया कि जोधपुर विभाग संचालक चंद्र प्रकाश अरोड़ा और विभाग प्रमुख प्रेम रतन सोतवाल ने ध्वजारोहण किया। ध्वजारोहण पश्चात राष्ट्रगान और राष्ट्रीय गीत सभी ने एक साथ गाकर देश के प्रति प्रेम व्यक्त किया।

आजादी के इस उत्सव में क्रांतिकारियों पर स्वाध्याय कर सभी ने स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों को भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजलि दी।

चंद्र प्रकाश अरोड़ा ने बताया कि युवा का एक कदम देश के भविष्य को विकास की ओर और तेजी से बढ़ा सकता है।
प्रेम रतन सोतवाल ने बताया कि आप जिस काम को कर रहे हो उस काम में आपका 100 प्रतिशत देना भी देश भक्ति का एक भाग है। इसके साथ हमें सदैव अपने संस्कारों से जुड़े रहना चाहिए।
कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित महेश बोहरा, श्याम मालवीय, पंकज व्यास, गौरव शर्मा, भगवान पंवार, विनीत कपूर, अनमोल शर्मा, संजय देव, अंबालाल जेदिया, गजेश भूतड़ा, ललितमान सिंह, मनीष कुमार राठौर, राहुल भाटी, राज भूतड़ा, आयुषी भूतड़ा, शिल्पा फोफलिया, अमिता बोहरा, अनिता बोराना ने देश के प्रति अपने विचार व्यक्त किए।
स्वाध्याय के पश्चात सभी ने मिलकर " चंदन है इस देश की माटी तपोभूमि हर ग्राम है, हर बाला देवी की प्रतिमा बच्चा बच्चा राम है " गाकर कार्यक्रम का समापन किया।

 विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी शाखा भागलपुर के तत्वाधान में केन्द्र कार्यालय में 75 वां आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव स्वतंत्रता दिवस मनाया गया।
इस अमृत महोत्सव के अवसर पर प्रान्त संपर्क प्रमुख विजय कुमार वर्मा जी ने आजादी के संघर्ष गाथा के साथ आज नव भारत के विषय पर प्रकाश डाला,विभाग संचालक गुरुदेव पोद्दार जी ने कहा कि विवेकानंद जी से उनके शिष्य ने पूछा कि भारत कब आजाद होगा?, उत्तर में उन्होंने कहा , आजादी में 50 वर्ष लग जाएंगे। उनके कहे अनुसार यह बात सही साबित हुआ।
अब हमें आगे भी इसी तरह इसी उत्साह के साथ स्वतंत्रता दिवस मनाते रहना है। इसके लिए उन्होंने विवेकानंद केंद्र के विचार मानव निर्माण से ही राष्ट्र के पुनर्गठन की परिकल्पना के लक्ष्य को साकार करने हेतु केंद्र की पद्धति  अपनाने को कहा।
इस अवसर पर केन्द्र का सभी दायित्ववान कार्यकर्ता एवं नगर के गणमान्य जन भी उपस्थित रहे,कार्यक्रम में उपस्थिति 27 की रही।
