Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, Chamundeshwari Devi Vibhag, Mysore Branch, was successfully organized the Anandalaya Utsava, a vibrant inter-Anandalaya cultural meet, held on February 22, 2026. This grand gathering saw a total attendance of 494 people including, 246 Students, and18 Anandalaya Shishaks from 16 Anandalaya, 48 Senior Children, 8 Vibhaga Karyakartas, 26 Nagar Karyakartas, 126 College Students and 17 Parents.
The program commenced with the auspicious Deepa Prajwalana by the chief guest, Sri Anandamurti Ji, followed by a warm welcome from Sri Siddegowda ji and a stirring rendition of “Vande Mataram” by Sri Rishikesh ji.
A significant highlight of the event was the release of the Kannada translation of the “Kishori Vikasa” book by Smt. Shruti Didi, complemented by Sri Anandamurti Ji’s insightful address on the role of Samskaras in youth development. Under the efficient coordination of Kum. Kavana Didi and the thematic introduction by Sri Aravinda ji, the day transitioned into a series of spirited cultural competitions.
Students showcased their devotion and talent through the recitation of Bhagavad Gita verses, Hanuman Chalisa, Shlokas, and Viveka Vani, as well as participating in Quiz rounds, Folk Dance, and a disciplined display of Surya Namaskar.
Dr. A. S. Chandrashekhar Ji, Vibhaga Sanchalak, further inspired the audience by sharing stories of Swami Vivekananda ji and emphasizing the importance of values and Rashtra Seva (national service).
The Utsava concluded with the Shanti Mantra, leaving every participant with a sense of pride as children and teachers were honored with gifts and the Vyavastha Dinadarshini as tokens of appreciation for their dedication.
