New Swadhyaya Varga inaugurated at RT Nagar

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, RT Nagar Branch inaugurated a new Swadhyaya Varga at the Samhita School of Perform
ing Arts and the RT Nagar Branch Karyalaya on 20th April 2025. A total of 16 people attended the varga.

The inaugural programme began with a prayer, followed by Deepa Prajwalan. The Karyakartas sang the Sharada Stuti and sought the blessings of the Goddess of Knowledge. The Swadhyaya Varga poster was unveiled by Shri Purushottam Ji (Nagar Sanchalak), Ms. Thara Bai Didi (Sahitya Seva Pramukh), and senior Karyakarta Dharani Amma.

Shri Purushottam Ji guided the gathering about the purpose of Swadhyaya Varga and spoke on the four margas, emphasizing the importance of Jnana Marga (path of knowledge). Thara Bai Didi motivated the participants and offered prayers for the continuity and success of the varga through her Hita Vanchana.

Gujarat Prant Seva Activities - April Highlight

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Gujarat Prant, actively conducts various seva activities across the state. Below are the highlights of activities carried out in the month of April:

 Dampatti Karyashala at Gandhinagar

A Dampatti Karyashala was organized at the Gandhinagar Karyasthan of Karnavati Vibhag under the Amrut Parivar initiative. Training was provided to the participants on how to conduct the Amrut Parivar programme. A total of 125 people attended the workshop.

IYF Activity – MOU Signing

As part of the Ignited Youth Forum (IYF) initiative, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Vivekananda Kendra, Purva Karnavati Branch (Karnavati vibhag) and Shri K.K. Shastri Government Commerce College. During the event, the complete structure and objectives of the IYF Mahavidhyalayasthan scheme were shared.

Personality Development Camp – Bhavnagar

A one-day Personality Development Camp was held at the Bhavnagar branch of Gujarat Prant, with the participation of 53 students from Std. 10 and 12. The camp aimed to help students develop positive values and reinforce cultural foundations through interactive activities such as games, storytelling, and yoga. The students participated with great enthusiasm.

कार्यकर्ता का जीवन तप और त्यागमय होना चाहिए : हनुमंत राव

 विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी की जबलपुर शाखा द्वारा हाल ही में "विमर्श कार्यक्रम" का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम का विषय था "संगठन की शक्ति: कार्यकर्ता", जिसमें जबलपुर नगर के विभिन्न सामाजिक संगठनों के प्रतिनिधि एवं कार्यकर्ता बड़ी संख्या में उपस्थित रहे। कार्यक्रम के मुख्यवक्ता श्री हनुमंत राव जी, अखिल भारतीय उपाध्यक्ष, विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी ने अपने प्रेरणादायी उद्बोधन में कहा कि मनुष्य का अस्तित्व अकेले कुछ नहीं है, उसके विकास में संगठित शक्तियों की भूमिका होती है। जैसे एक संतान का जन्म केवल माता-पिता के कारण नहीं होता, बल्कि अनेक अदृश्य शक्तियाँ एक साथ काम करती हैं, उसी प्रकार एक कार्यकर्ता भी समाज और संगठन के सहयोग से आकार लेता है।

उन्होंने आगे कहा कि सनातन संस्कृति “व्यष्टि से समष्टि” की ओर प्रेरित करती है। व्यक्ति का सच्चा आनंद केवल अपनी स्वार्थपूर्ति में नहीं, बल्कि समाज के लिए निस्वार्थ सेवा में है। सच्चा कार्यकर्ता वही होता है जो अपने व्यक्तिगत विकास के लिए नहीं, बल्कि संगठन की उन्नति के लिए सम्पूर्ण समर्पण से कार्य करता है। इसी कारण से कार्यकर्ता को संगठन की शक्ति कहा गया है।

कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि श्री नरेश ग्रोवर जी ने भी अपने विचार साझा करते हुए कहा कि हिन्दू समाज संगठित कार्य की प्रेरणा देता है। जब हम सामूहिक भावना से राष्ट्र कार्य करते हैं, तो उसके परिणाम भी अत्यंत श्रेष्ठ होते हैं।

इस अवसर पर आरोग्य भारती, संस्कार भारती, मयूर मेमोरियल, कदम संस्था, श्रेष्ठ उपहार फाउंडेशन, श्रीधरा फाउंडेशन, और मानव उत्थान समिति सहित अनेक संगठनों के प्रतिनिधि एवं कार्यकर्ता उपस्थित रहे। कार्यक्रम के समापन पर विवेकानन्द केन्द्र जबलपुर के विभाग संचालक माननीय डॉ. अखिलेश गुमास्ता जी ने सभी आगंतुकों और सहभागी संगठनों का हार्दिक आभार व्यक्त किया।

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, organized a Swadhyaya Competition at St Philomena College, Puttur in Dakshin Kannada district on 21st April 2025. A total of 28 students participated in the examination.

The competition was based on the book “Swami Vivekananda Jeevan Mattu Sandesha” and aimed to inspire students to imbibe the noble qualities and character traits of Swami Vivekananda. The event was coordinated by Sri Mallesh ji, a student of the college &Karyakarta  of Vivekananda Kendra, Mysuru.

vivakananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant organized the Swadhyaya Competition at Shree Benakappa Shankrappa Simhasanad Government First Grade College Gajendragad in Gadag District on 19th April 2025. A total of 41 students participated in the examination.



The competition was based on the book “Swami Vivekananda Jeevan Mattu Sandesha” and aimed to inspire students to imbibe the noble qualities and character traits of Swami Vivekananda. The event was coordinated by Sri Siddesh ji and Kendra karyakarthas Sri Bheeman ji, Sri Naveen ji and Sri Ishwar ji. Full support was extended by the college, ensuring the successful conduct of the event.

Personality Development Camp at Kodungallur

 Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur (Kerala Prant) organized a week-long Personality Development Camp for children at Edavilangu Sharada Gramam, Kodungulur from 4th to 11th April 2025.

The daily sessions were held from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (two and a half hours each day). A total of 25 children participated in the camp, accompanied by several parents, bringing the total number of participants to 55.

The objective of the camp was to help children develop positive beliefs and strengthen their cultural values through engaging activities such as games, storytelling, and yoga.

The camp was inaugurated by Ms. Suja Cheechi (Karyakarta, VKVVF) with a deepa prajwalan. On 9th April, Adarneeya Raghunathan Ji, a Jeevanvrati Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra, interacted with the children. Ms. Raji Cheechi and Sri Girish Ji also shared their thoughts and experiences during the camp.

On the concluding day, Adarneeya Sri Sudhakar Ji, a senior Jeevanvrati Karyakarta, graced the occasion, offering his blessings and guidance to the children. VKVVF Karyakartas Ms. Bindu Cheechi and Ms. Remya Cheechi were also present on the concluding day.

The children actively participated in all the activities, thoroughly enjoyed the camp, and imbibed valuable cultural and moral lessons.

दाहोद जिले में 10 दिवसीय योग सत्र का आयोजन

विवेकानंद केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, गुजरात प्रान्त के जनजाति सेवा प्रकल्प द्वारा दिनांक 5 अप्रैल से 14 अप्रैल 2025 तक, फतेपुरा तहसील के पाडलिया-बलैया स्थित श्री साई नर्सिंग कॉलेज में 10 दिवसीय योग सत्र का आयोजन किया गया। प्रतिदिन प्रातः 6:00 से 7:30 बजे तक संचालित इस सत्र में कॉलेज की सभी छात्राओं ने उत्साहपूर्वक और नियमित रूप से भाग लिया। योग के विभिन्न आयामों — जैसे आसन, प्राणायाम, ध्यान और सकारात्मक जीवनशैली — को सहज भाषा में समझाया गया, जिससे सहभागी बहनों को योग को दैनिक जीवन में अपनाने की प्रेरणा मिली।

इस योग सत्र में वड़ोदरा विभाग प्रमुख आदरणीया डॉ. हेतलबेन पटेल का विशेष मार्गदर्शन प्राप्त हुआ। उनके प्रेरक उद्बोधन और सरल शैली ने सहभागियों को गहराई से प्रभावित किया। साथ ही, श्री भरत विवेकजी (वडोदरा विभाग प्रवासी कार्यकर्ता), श्री भरतभाई एन. सेवक (संयोजक, संतरामपुर कार्यस्थान), प्रो. अर्जुनभाई आर. भाटी (युवा प्रमुख, संतरामपुर कार्यस्थान), तथा श्री हिलयभाई राणा (वड़ोदरा विभाग कार्यपद्धति प्रमुख) की भी गरिमामयी उपस्थिति रही।

सत्र के दौरान नियमित औसत उपस्थिति 122 बहनों, 2 भाइयों और 2 कार्यकर्ताओं की रही, इस प्रकार कुल 126 सहभागियों ने इस योग अभ्यास में भाग लिया। यह सत्र न केवल शारीरिक और मानसिक स्वास्थ्य की दृष्टि से लाभकारी सिद्ध हुआ, बल्कि सहभागियों के व्यक्तित्व विकास और सेवा भाव को भी गहराई प्रदान करने वाला रहा

जनजाति सेवा प्रकल्प द्वारा आयोजित 10 दिवसीय योग सत्र

विवेकानंद केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, गुजरात प्रान्त के जनजाति सेवा प्रकल्प द्वारा 1 अप्रैल से 10 अप्रैल 2025 तक, महिसागर जिले के संतरामपुर तहसील के ग्राम उखरेली में 10 दिवसीय योग सत्र का आयोजन किया गया। प्रतिदिन प्रातः 8:30 से 9:30 तक आयोजित इस सत्र में विशेष रूप से जनजाति क्षेत्रों में कार्यरत आनंदालय की आचार्य बहनों और प्रबंधकों की नियमित उपस्थिति रही। योग सत्र में योग के विभिन्न आयामों जैसे – आसन, प्राणायाम, ध्यान और योगिक जीवनशैली के मूल्यों को सरल भाषा में प्रस्तुत किया गया। चर्चा, खेल और संवाद के माध्यम से विषयों को रोचक एवं प्रभावी रूप में समझाया गया।

इस सत्र के अंत में सहभागियों ने अपने अनुभव साझा करते हुए बताया कि यह सत्र उनके लिए आत्मिक विकास का एक महत्वपूर्ण माध्यम बना। सभी ने योग को अपने दैनिक जीवन में अपनाने की प्रेरणा प्राप्त की। इस अवसर पर श्री निर्मलभाई पराड़कर (प्रान्त व्यवस्था प्रमुख) और श्री हितेशभाई जोशी (सह-संयोजक, संतरामपुर) ने विशेष मार्गदर्शन प्रदान किया। इनके अतिरिक्त श्री भरत विवेकजी (वडोदरा विभाग प्रवासी कार्यकर्ता), श्री वनराजभाई दसुंदी (आनंदालय प्रशिक्षण प्रमुख), श्रीमती सुष्माबेन पराड़कर (भजन संध्या प्रमुख, वडोदरा नगर) और श्री कमलेशभाई जे. चौहान (आचार्य, कोबा फलिया, वर्ग बेणदा प्राथमिक शाला) की भी विशेष उपस्थिति रही।

इस आयोजन में कुल 39 प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया, जिसमें 18 आचार्य बहनें, 9 भाई, 5 कार्यकर्ता और 7 विशेष अतिथि शामिल थे। यह योग सत्र न केवल शारीरिक और मानसिक स्वास्थ्य के लिए उपयोगी सिद्ध हुआ, बल्कि सेवा, संयम और समर्पण के मूल्यों को सुदृढ़ करने में भी सहायक रहा।

Personality Development Camp at Anapuzha

 

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Kerala Prant, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur, in association with Anapuzha Pandit Karuppan Memorial Vayanashalla, organized a one-day Personality Development Camp on 9th April 2025 at the Kalyanadayini Sabha Hall, Anapuzha, in Thrissur district. The camp was conducted from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The objective of the camp was to help children cultivate positive values and strengthen their cultural foundations through engaging activities such as games, storytelling, and yoga.

The camp was inaugurated by Thangaraj Master, former President of the Anapuzha Pandit Karuppan Memorial Vayanashalla. Adarneeya Sri Sudhakar Ji and Sri Raghunanthan Ji, Jeevan-vrati karyakarthas of Vivekananda Kendra, guided the children, while various activities were conducted by VKVVF karyakartas—Ms. Bindu Cheechi, Ms. Sheela Cheechi, Ms. Sheela Teacher, Ms. Sreelakshmi Cheechi, Ms. Anu Cheechi, Ms. Anushree Cheechi, Sri Surya Ji, and Ms. Remya Cheechi.

A total of 52 children participated in the camp, along with several parents, bringing the total number of participants to 82.

Swadhyaya competition at Bellubbi

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant organized the Swadhyaya Competition at Bellubbi Arts & Commerce College, Savadatti in Belagavi district on 9th April 2025. A total of 74 students participated in the examination.

The competition was based on the book “Swami Vivekananda Jeevan Mattu Sandesha” and aimed to inspire students to imbibe the noble qualities and character traits of Swami Vivekananda. The event was coordinated by Ms. Arundati Badami Didi. The college extended full support in organizing the competition.

Swadhyaya Competition at JP Nagar

 Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, JP Nagar Branch conducted an introductory and enrolment session for the Swadhyaya Competition at RV Teachers College, Jayanagar on 7th April 2025.

A total of 80 students participated in the event, which was coordinated by Sri Ananthramu Ji, Samparka Pramukh, with support from Prof. Sri Shambulinge Gouda Ji, Saha Sanchalak, Sri Prakash Ji, Nagarasthaan Pramukh, and Sri Ravishankar Ji, Sahitya Seva Pramukh. The students showed enthusiastic interest in registering for the competition. The college management also extended their support and encouragement toward the initiative.

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant organized the Swadhyaya Competition at Besant Women's College, Mangaluru, Dakshina Kannada District on 6th April 2025. A total of 78 students participated in the examination.

The competition was based on the book “Swami Vivekananda Jeevan Mattu Sandesha” and aimed to inspire students to imbibe the noble qualities and character traits of Swami Vivekananda. The event was coordinated by Smt. Janeshwari Didi and Sri Mallesh Ji. The college staff extended wholehearted support in organizing the competition, ensuring its smooth and successful conduct. As a follow-up to the program, a one-day camp  is also being planned.

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Kerala Prant, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur in association with Kannikulangara SNDP Shakha, organized a one-day Personality Development Camp on 4th April 2025 at the Kannikulangara SNDP Hall, Thrissur. The camp was held from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The objective of the camp was to help children develop positive beliefs and enhance their cultural values through engaging activities such as games, storytelling, and yoga.

The VKVVF team, comprising Adarneeya Shri Sudhakar Ji, Senior Jeevan-vrati Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra; Bindu Chechi, Remya Chechi, Anushree Chechi, Sreelakshmi Chechi, Sri Surya Ji, Sheela Chechi, and Anita Chechi, guided the children throughout the sessions and conducted various interactive activities.

A total of 70 children participated in the camp, along with several parents. The total number of participants was 110.

The competition was based on the book “Swami Vivekananda Jeevan Mattu Sandesha” and aimed to inspire students to imbibe the noble qualities and character traits of Swami Vivekananda. The event was coordinated by Kendra aryakarthas Sri Sagar ji and Sri Rajgopal ji, with support from Smt Mamta and Smt Usha, the Principal of the college.
