Bhajan Sandhya at Bengaluru

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag organized a Bhajan Sandhya at Shri Prasanna Venkateshwara Swamy Temple in Bagalur Cross Yelahanka. A total of 24 people attended the event.

Kendra Karyakartas, including Karnataka Vibhag Pramukh Sri Prasad Ji, Vibhag Sah Pramukh Sri Vinay Ji, Smt. Raji Didi, Chandra Shekar Ji, Smt. Sita Lakshmi Didi, Sri Pradeep Ji, Sri Veeresh Ji, and Pranidhi Ji, actively participated. Sri Vinay Ji gave an introduction to Vivekananda Kendra. The evening was filled with beautiful bhajans dedicated to various deities, creating a serene and uplifting atmosphere.

Yoga instructor Smt. Monika Didi coordinated with Vivekananda Kendra to conduct the Bhajan Sandhya, and there are plans to start a Samskar Varga at the temple in the near future.

Universal Brotherhood Day Celebration at VK Durgapur

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, West Bengal Prant, Paschimbanga Prant, Shanti Niketan Vibhag, Durgapur Nagar celebrated Universal Brotherhood Day at Vivekananda Uddyan, M.A.M.C, Durgapur Nagar, on 11th September 2024. A total of 87 people attended the event.

 गया नगर मथुरासिनी ट्रस्ट के प्रांगण में विवेकानन्द केन्द्र गया द्वारा आयोजित 'विश्व बंधुत्व दिवसउत्सव एक सफल आयोजन रहा। इस कार्यक्रम में स्वामी विवेकानंद के विचारों को जीवंत किया गया और विश्व बंधुत्व के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला गया।

VKV Kanyakumari Students Raise Funds for Landslide Relief in Wayanad


 The students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Kanyakumari (Dakshin Prant, Tamil Nadu Vibhag), raised ₹61,030/- for the rehabilitation of landslide-affected people in Wayanad, Kerala. This generous contribution was transferred to the Deseeya Sevabharathi Keralam Relief Account by VKV Kanyakumari.

A letter detailing the donation was handed over to the District Secretary of Deseeya Sevabharathi Keralam, Shri Prasanth Ji, and Zilla Committee Member, Smt. Jayalakshmi. The handover was conducted at the Vivekananda Kendra Karyalaya in Thiruvananthapuram by Dakshin Prant Sangathak of VRM & VK, Kum. Radha Devi Didi, and Kerala Karyalaya Pramukh, Kum. Priyamvada Didi.

This effort reflects the students' commitment to service and their empathy towards those in need, upholding the values instilled by Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas.
