Universal Brotherhood Day at VK-VVF Kodungallur

Universal Brotherhood Day, celebrated annually on September 11, commemorates the profound message of Universal Brotherhood delivered by Swami Vivekananda at the Parliament of Religions in Chicago on September 11, 1893. It is one of the five Utsavas celebrated by Vivekananda Kendra across all its branches in Bharat.

This year, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur organized a Universal Brotherhood Day programme at Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur on 29th September, 2024 from 10 a.m. A total of 45 people attended the programme.

The programme started with Deepa Prajwalan (lighting of the ceremonial lamp) by Mananeeya Dr. Lakshmi Kumari Didi, Director of Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation. On the Dias were Shri. G Piyush Ji and  Dr.Lakshmi Shanker, Professor, Sreekrishna College, Guruvayoor.

Shri. G Piyush Ji was the key note speaker addressed the gathering. Mananeeya Lakshmi Didi also blessed the audience and gave the message of Universal Brotherhood Day.
